The People’s Bridge Coalition is an ad hoc committee of the Central Pennsylvania Conservancy. |
| Goal: |
Restoration of the western spans of the Walnut Street Bridge as part of a comprehensive solution to problems related to the western approach in the Borough of Wormleysburg. |
| Solution: |
The restoration must be integrated with proposed transportation projects in that area and address the problems faced by businesses in southern Wormleysburg. Several of the concerns are parking, pedestrian safety, and the streetscape. |
| Funding: |
The coalition recognizes that transportation dollars cannot be the only source for funding a comprehensive solution. |
